Lollapalooza Brazil attendees were rightfully disappointed upon receiving word from festival organizers that Drake would not perform Sunday due to a situation “beyond his control.” That disappointment switched over to anger for some after footage started going around showing the Toronto native hanging out with 50 Cent at a strip club in Miami the night before.

Drake was scheduled to headline on Day 3 of Lollapalooza Brazil. The festival released the following statement Sunday morning, as translated by TMZ, indicating the cancellation was linked to an issue regarding members of the sound and production team: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Drake is without members of his sound and production team, essential to the realization of the Lollapalooza show in Sao Paulo. Drake was excited to perform for his fans in Brazil. Unfortunately, this is beyond his control. Sorry.”

According to TMZ, Drake was seen Saturday night with 50 Cent at the Booby Trap on the River, leading many to lash out on social media, questioning the authenticity of his reason for backing out at the last minute.

Brazil becomes the latest Lollapalooza location to be upset with Drake, after he didn’t livestream his performance in Argentina earlier this month. He also cut his set short after just over 40 minutes, compared to other headliners who have been known to spend around 90 minutes on stage.
